Once gifts have been imported to or entered in the Gift Transaction tool, they will be sorted into three categories:
- Needs a Match
- Needs Updates
- Ready for Import
For records that need a match, there is either not enough information to establish an exact match to the correct Contact record in Virtuous, or no matching records can be found. Scroll through any possible matches identified by the system and select the correct Contact record, or click "Create New" to instantly create a new Contact record using the information included with a gift record.
